The "Foot Pursuit," a 5K fun run featuring a cops and robbers theme will take place on Saturday, Mar. 28, 2015, beginning at 3 p.m. The starting location is the Southern Hills Pool, E. Southern Hills Blvd. and Lone Pine in Springfield and the course includes a scenic, lake-filled neighborhood.
Awards for kids will be given in several age brackets, and a kids' obstacle course will be on site with demos and games. For adults awards will be presented in the Masters Male and Female and overall male and female categories.
The fee is $22.50 per person with special pricing for a family of six. Registration ends just before noon on March 27, 2015. Packet pick-up will be at Ridge Runner Sports, 3057 S. Fremont Ave., Springfield, from noon to 6 p.m., the day before the race.
