| UPDATE: Greg Connelly, 34, from Joplin was the man identified who was found dead last week in a car inside the Wendy's parking lot on Aldersgate in Nixa. The severely decomposed body discovered in the back seat of a Chevrolet Malibu was identified using dental records. The cause of death is still under investigation. Nixa Police are seeking information from the public regarding a deceased person found in the back seat of a vehicle Thursday morning.
On June 23, 2016, at 7:56 a.m.,the Nixa Police Department received a report of a maroon Chevrolet Malibu parked in the parking lot of Wendys in Nixa with a deceased person lying down in the back seat. It was reported that the vehicle had been sitting in the parking lot for several days.
