Three local attorneys are honored f-fite
Updated: 2014-09-24 08:14:06
Three local Missouri attorneys were among 100 across the state and the nation who were honored by The Missouri Bar. Joseph A. Bohrer and John R. Courtney from Springfield and Donald L. Schoonover from Nixa became "Senior Counselors" of The Missouri Bar after reaching the age of 75 years and were admitted to The Missouri Bar for 50 years.

The recognition ceremonies took place during the Opening Luncheon of the 133rd Annual Meeting of The Missouri Bar held on Thursday, September 11, 2014, at the Sheraton Kansas City Hotel at Crown Center.

The Missouri Bar is a statewide organization dedicated to improving the legal profession, the law and the administration of justice for all Missourians. Created in 1944 by order of the Supreme Court of Missouri, it serves all 30,000 of Missouris practicing attorneys. To achieve its mission, The Missouri Bar provides a wide range of services and resources to its members, as well as the media, educators and the citizens of Missouri.
