Updated: 2015-05-20 14:57:35
The Heart of the Ozarks Bluegrass Association (HOBA) has planned two events for June 2015 at its park in West Plains. The annual June Bluegrass Festival will take place on June 4-6 and the 5th Annual Gospel Music Show will be held on June 27.

The handicap accessible park features showers, 30-amp DH RV hookups for $10 per day and a dump station; no-electric camping (tenting) is $5 per day. Pets are allowed on a leash but not in the concert or concession areas. No bicycles are allowed as well as no alcoholic beverages anywhere on the grounds. Shows are scheduled rain or shine and bands are subject to change without notice. Be sure to bring lawn chairs.

Featured at the bluegrass festival will be Lonesome Road (Friday and Saturday only), Spur of the Moment (Saturday only), Highway 32 (Friday only), The Baker Family (Thursday and Friday only), Borderline Bluegrass (Saturday only), and Big Creek. A free bean supper with each paid admission will be held at the Thursday night gospel show. Biscuits and gravy will be served up Saturday morning. Admission per person at 7 p.m. on Thursday evening is $5, on Friday night at 7 p.m., $10, on Saturday at 1:30 p.m., $15 on Saturday night at 7 p.m., $10. A 3-day pass is $25 and children 12 and under are free.

The Saturday gospel show will include one evening of southern, bluegrass and country gospel music. Beginning at 5 p.m. a choice of a BBQ pork sandwich plate or hamburger/cheeseburger plate will be available for purchase from the concession stand. The adult meal is $5, children's portion is $2.50. Amy Wright & Friends, Simply By Grance and Vicky Dancer will perform beginning at 7 p.m.

The HOBA park is located just off of Bypass 63 at Lanton Road in West Plains. Turn south between the Glass Sword Cinema and Regal-Beloit. Bluegrass Lane is less than a mile on the right.
