| The 12th annual Arts Fest at Temple Israel, 5910 S. Farm Road 193, in Springfield will take place from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 8, 2015. The festival features the largest collection of Judaica in Southwest Missouri, a gourmet bake sale (challahs, blintzes, rugelach, strudel and more), New York-style delicatessen and a silent auction featuring a two eye LASIK procedure performed by Dr. Shachar Tauber that retails for $4500.
Artists, primarily in three dimensional work are also needed. The show is small but very popular--there is only room for approximately 12 artists, and the festival is trying to bring in some new artists and art to visitors. Artists may set up their booths either the day before or early that morning. Appropriate or interested artists may apply by contacting Fred Hamburg by e-mail here.
