Greene County Clerk Shane Schoeller announced absentee ballots are now available for those eligible voters who are unable to go to their regular polling place on Aug 4, 2015. In Greene County, there will be one proposition on the August ballot from the Logan-Rogersville Fire Protection District.

Absentee ballots may be voted in the clerks office on the first floor of the Greene County Courthouse (Room 113), 940 N Boonville Ave, Springfield, between 8 a.m. and 4:45 p.m., Monday through Friday, until the day before the election. Homebound or out-of-town voters may request an absentee ballot by mail, either handwritten or from the fillable form that can be found here These requests must be signed by the voters and received in the clerks office no later than 5 p.m. on the Wednesday prior to the election, July 29th. Mailed ballots must be voted, notarized, returned by mail, and received in the clerks office before 7 p.m. on Election Day.

Questions about absentee voting should be directed to Schoellers office at (417) 868-4060 or here.
