| TJ doubles team moves on to finals | rcarlson | | Updated: 2013-10-20 20:46:56 |  | | | Thomas Jefferson Independent Day School doubles tennis players, Evadne Rodriguez (left) and Thisbe Scholfield-Johnson (right) won the sectionals match by defeating a team from Warrensburg High School. They will play in the Class 1 State Tournament in Springfield held on October 25-26. High academic achievers, Scholfield-Johnson recently was commended by the National Merit Scholarship program for being in the top three percent of PSAT scorers and Rodriguez was included in the top two percent of College Board National Hispanic Scholars. |
