CRIME STOPPERS and the Springfield Police Department are requesting help regarding a robbery. On December 4, 2013, at approximately 8:15 p.m., a suspect entered the Kum & Go located at 1550 N. Glenstone and approached the front counter. The suspect displayed a handgun and ordered the clerk to give him all of the money. The clerk provided the suspect with currency from the cash register and the suspect then he fled the store on foot. A SUV was observed leaving the scene at a high rate of speed and was believed to be parked nearby. The robbery was captured on a video surveillance system.

The suspect from the robbery was a white male wearing a denim jacket with a gray hood, black shirt, jeans, and a baseball cap. The vehicle drove south in front of Caseys then turned onto Division. Police investigators are seeking help from the public in identifying the suspect in the pictures. This investigation is still on-going at this time.
