Second suspect still on the loose pgianopu

This is the getaway vehicle in a foiled crime in Springfield last March 2013.

CRIME STOPPERS and the Springfield Police Department are requesting help regarding a robbery. On March 17, 2013, at approximately 8 a.m., a suspect entered the Signal Gas Station located at 960 S. Glenstone and approached the beer coolers where he waited until all of the customers exited the store. He then contacted the clerk at the sales counter, ordering the clerk to give him all of the money. During this time, the suspect had his right hand in his pocket and stated he didnt want to shoot the clerk. The clerk provided the suspect with currency from the cash register before the suspect fled the store on foot.

The robbery was captured on a video surveillance system. Another nearby business had surveillance cameras mounted on the exterior of the building.

The suspect from the robbery can be seen running from the Signal Gas Station and entering the passenger side of a vehicle. The vehicle then flees the area northbound on Glenstone Avenue.

Michael Allan Huus, age 39, has been charged with robbery for his involvement in the crime. Police investigators are seeking help from the public in identifying the suspect vehicle shown and the driver that aided in the robbery. Note damage to the pictured vehicle that may be seen above the front drivers side tire.

Anyone with information concerning this case, please call Crime Stoppers. Do NOT try to apprehend the suspects, as they may become violent. Call CRIME STOPPERS at 869-TIPS (8477), submit your tip on-line at www.tipsubmit.com, or text 417SPD plus your message to 274637 (CRIMES). Tipsters do not have to give their name and could earn a reward. Crime Stoppers takes information about drug dealers, wanted felons, and all other felony crimes. We pay rewards of up to $1000.00 in cash for the information that leads to the arrest and the filing of charges against people involved in felony crimes.
