| The Springfield and Branson locations of the Missouri Career Center will host hiring events to recruit marketing agents for Welk Resorts.
The first event will take place 9 a.m.-1 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 15, 2013, at the Springfield location, 2900 E. Sunshine. The second will take place 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Monday, Oct. 21, 2013, at the Branson location, 2720 Shepherd of the Hills Expressway. Representatives from Welk Resorts will be available for interviews at both events.
Essential duties for the positions include delivering marketing presentations to guests, booking tours, driving 30 miles or more to event locations and the ability to work evenings, weekends and holidays.
Compensation includes paid training and opportunities for advancement; hourly base pay and commission; monthly performance bonuses and eligibility for medical, dental, vision and life insurance; vacation, holiday and sick pay; and 401(K) retirement and ESOP plans.
Applicants must be able to pass a background check and drug screen, have their own reliable transportation and a valid drivers license, have excellent communication skills, have experience in direct sales or customer service and a high school diploma or GED.
