Nathaniel S. Jones, 38, of Springfield has been sentenced to six years in prison for a commercial burglary he committed on April 6, 2013. Springfield officers caught Jones on the scene shortly after he stole jewelry and electronics from Absolute Wellness at 3550 N. Glenstone. He pleaded guilty to 2nd Degree Burglary in November of last year.

Jones is a prior and persistent offender and at the time of his arrest was serving a five-year probation sentence for committing a string of commercial burglaries in 2011. His sentence for this string was amended to 12 years in prison, giving Jones a combined 18-year prison sentence.
