The Master Gardeners of the Ozarks have announced their remaining brown bag lunches for 2015. The events take place behind the Taney County MU Extension Center, 122 Felkins Ave., Forsyth.
"Pack a lunch and come and join us in our garden for these free and informative sessions," said Marva Ramsey, a member of the Master Gardeners of the Ozarks.
The schedule includes:
- Tuesday, June 2, Noon - "Keyhole Gardens"
This new idea introduces round raised bed gardens that contain active compost piles placed in their center
- Tuesday, July 7, Noon - "Drip Irrigation"
- Tuesday, Aug. 4, Noon - "Harvest Time"
- Saturday, Aug. 22, 10 a.m. - "Pollinators"
- Tuesday, Sept. 1, Noon - "Growing Micro Greens"
- Saturday, Oct. 3, 10 a.m. - "Monarch Watch"
Evening event also is scheduled
The Master Gardeners also will present the second annual "Evening in the Garden" from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Thursday, June 25, 2015. This free event also will take place in the Master Gardener's Demonstration Garden. Sample herbal drinks and enjoy appetizers while strolling the gardens. Bring cuttings to share. Go Back |
